St. Cecilia Music Center's annual Concerto Competition will take place the morning of December 5th, 2026.

Contestants must:

• be in grades 6-12.
• not be a previous winner.
• have the composition memorized.
• provide their own second piano accompanist for the competition.
• register by 5:00pm Friday, November 6th, 2026.

Applicants must be prepared to play the following concerto by memory at the competition:

Mozart Piano Concerto No 12 in A major, K414, mvt. 1, with longer Mozart cadenza

Auditions are closed. Parents/Teachers will not be permitted in the audition room with the exception of a parent or teacher accompanying the student. Tape recorders are prohibited in the audition room and adjoining areas.

The competition winner will perform with the SCMC Philharmonic in concert the evening of Saturday, January 16, 2027 at 7:30pm.
